I'm Irka, a fine line tattoo artist in Helsinki with over 10 years of experience. Every tattoo starts as a hand-drawn sketch, designed for your body and your idea.

What styles do you do?
I specialize in fine line tattoos, but I'm not limited to that. Florals, geometric, minimalist, script, portraits from photos, tattoos from children's drawings — I've done all of those. If you have something else in mind, just ask.
How much does a tattoo cost?
Price depends on complexity, not just size. A tiny nano tattoo can cost under €100, especially if you're getting a few done in one session. More detailed work is priced individually. I give you a clear quote after seeing your idea and before you visit the studio. The estimate is free.
Can I bring my own idea?
Yes, and most people do. You bring the idea, I sketch the design together with you until you find it absolutely perfect. Doesn't matter if it's a rough concept or a detailed reference — we'll work it out.
Can I see how the tattoo looks before you start?
Always. We place the tattoo outline on your skin with temporary ink so you can see the exact size, position, and how it sits on your body. Nothing permanent happens until you say go.
How do I book a tattoo appointment?
Fill out the booking form on this site with your idea, preferred size, and placement. I try to get back to you within 48 hours to confirm and discuss the design.
How long does a tattoo take to heal?
About 4 weeks. No sauna, no swimming, keep it moisturized. I provide you with aftercare instructions after your session.
Where is Irka's tattoo studio in Helsinki?
The studio is at Punavuorenkatu 4, in Helsinki's Design District. About 10 minutes by tram from Helsinki Railway Station — hop off at Andante coffee shop. Clients come from across Finland and abroad.
